EntelliPro, GE Energy’s intelligent low voltage motor management and protection system has received the official EU ATEX certificate that allows the system to be used for protection of motors in potentially explosive atmospheres.
The certificate is issued by the German certifying body, PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt).
Products for use in potentially explosive atmospheres in EU countries must be certified to the ATEX directive (ATEX 94/9/EC). This involves the testing and assessment of such products to the latest ATEX standards and periodic surveillance of quality management systems.
Based on more than 20 years of experience in intelligent motor management technology GE EntelliPro motor control and protection systems are pre-programmed for most applications and configurable to customer requirements.
EntelliPro can interface with process control and SCADA systems, and features advanced HMI touch panels that offer the user high levels of information availability and trouble-shooting capability.
