📢 BRAKING FACTS #9 of 9 🙌 Overexcitation: The magic of anticipation - unfortunately only for a short time Just like the excitement kids feel before opening their presents, engineering has its own form of anticipation called #overexcitation. It's like a burst of energy achieved by briefly increasing voltage in systems like electromagnetic brakes, allowing for enhanced performance with stronger springs and thus achieving a higher frictional torque. ⚡ However, it's crucial to return to normal conditions quickly to prevent #overheating and safe #energy.  So the condition of overexcitement is only possible for a short time. 🕕 Why that? In magnetic systems, a wide gap between the magnet housing and the armature disc initially requires a high current to maintain magnetic flux.
